We need to move on from Think Globally, Act Locally.
In our interconnected world we can now Think Locally, Act Globally.
Take good ideas from anywhere, apply them locally.
Then engage the worldwide community for support, and to support others.
What better field for this than one without limits, astronomy?

An invited presentation by Mike Simmons at the 3rd Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education, organized by the IAU Office of Astronomy for Education (OAE) as part of a session called Earth as a Planet.
